Visiting Surgeons are invited to post responses to your questions and concerns about visting their foreign hospitals for your medical and surgical needs.   Visiting surgeons may provide you with general information not specific to your condition or circumstances, and will not provide you assements or diagnosis through this forum.  Vigilant Society members who are seeking care, whether medical or surgery, may access call a doctor who will answer your call or call you back, that doctor or surgeon will speak with the member or the member’s doctor and discuss a plan of care.  The first step is to direct you to the best facility to provide your care and you and your doctor or surgeon can call them directly.  The care facility will assign a surgeon or doctor to discuss your care needs and planning.  You will then be directed to the business office to discuss arrival, pickup, costs, payment scheduling, room accommodations and whether you wish private duty doctors or nurses during and or  after your procedures.

As of December 20th, 2010 the medical community is buzzing about the news of  a hopeful cure for AIDS through the use of marrow transplants. The buzz is focused on the applied research in human bone marrow transplants from donors with the abnormal CCR5 Delta 32 gene which offers promise of a cure for the dreaded AIDS.  This news is miraculous, praise worthy and very welcomed!  Vigilant Society will keep you posted on progress in this all important segment, and point you in the driection of hlep, so stay tuned! http://www.vigilantsociety.com
